SERVICES
SUPERVISED CONTACT
This is used when it has been determined that a child has suffered or is at risk of suffering harm during contact.
A qualified worker supervises the contact session between the parent and child/ren at all times.
A report will be provided
SUPPORTED CONTACT
These are suitable for families where no significant risk to the child have been identified.
Staff and volunteers are available for assistance but there is no close observation or monitoring. Your child safety remains paramount.
No report will be provided
ESCORTED/COMMUNITY CONTACT
This involves the child and non resident parent being accompanied on visits to places such as local parks, shops and contact being held at the family home.
A report will be provided
FAMILY SUPPORT WORK
This work is usually commissioned by children services, whereby the child/ren maybe considered At Risk or In Need.
Our experienced staff meets the family usually at their home and supports them to help themselves to manage their day to day routines and appointments that they may be struggling with.
A brief report will be provided to the allocated social worker
HANDOVERS
Parents do not have to meet as the handover will be done by the centre's staff or volunteers.
The parent who does not live with the child will take the child out of the centre for the duration of the visit, bringing them back to the centre at the scheduled time.
No supervisor or report will be provided
VIRTUAL VIDEO CONTACT
This involves the use of a Video Chat App like (Zoom or Teams). The session is facilitated by a supervisor, and the parent having contact and their child. This type of contact can be for supervised and supported contacts.
A report will be provided if the session is supervised.
ROOM HIRE
Please contact us regarding our room hire. This can be booked at both our centres. We have age appropriate toys for different age groups.
